BikeFest - Featuring Rewind Festival

Sunday 10th June, 2018

NEW for 2018!!!

Bikefest is the brand new event from Knockhill celebrating everything on two-wheels. With a great mixture of on-track and off-track action, there's something for everyone to enjoy at this event!
Take part in the all-new endurance races or trackday sessions. Enjoy the sights and sounds of all the iconic bikes on show at the Rewind festival with 3 special track sessions for classic bikes.

*** SUPER 6 EVENT ***

Our Super 6 events are family-focused events with additional features like bouncy castles, balloon modelling, simulators, competitions and costume characters especially for the kids. So, whilst you check out all the classic bikes you used to own down the years, the young ones can be off enjoying some of the other enterainment on offer. You'll also score major brownie points for being the one that brought them along (oh, and it won't cost you a bean as all kids under 16 go FREE) You may however, get fleeced at the Knockhill shop or ice cream van; so bring some extra pennies just in case.

Event Information

***Note*** All kids under the age of 16 now go free. Only purchase a concession ticket it you require OAP, disabled or student rate entry. Kids will gain free access, no ticket required.

Endurance Races

As part of Bikefest, we will be running two very special Endurance Bike Races on the day. This will be the a welcome return to a format that hasn't been seen on track at Knockhill for a number of years.

The Knockhill 100 is a 100 lap endurance race for teams of two open to all Formula 600s/Clubmans/Superbike riders.
The Knockhill 50 will be a 50 lap endurance race for teams of two open to all Lightweights/Pre-Injection 600/CB500 riders.

Entry forms are available in the download section.

Rewind Classic Festival

Step back in time with some of the most iconic names in bike history in our static display.  Anyone with a classic bike can display their machine at the festival for free by completing the booking form Documents and Downloads below.  Knockhill Club president, Niall Mackenzie will also be on site and on track aboard some of his all-time favourite machinery (Fizzy’s and LCs – as he puts it)

Includes our 'Spit and Polish' competitions for all showing bikes. Trophies and prizes up for grabs with the best 70s, 80, and 90s bikes receiving awards - as well as the 'Best in Show' award presented at the end of the day.

Classic Rewind Parade Laps

Every year, we invite all showing bikers out onto track for a quick parade lap. It's a nice amble around the twists and dips of Knockhill aboard your favourite machine. A great way to showcase the sight, sound and smell of some of these iconic bikes in motion.

CB500 Racing

On the day we'll be hosting two CB500 races, a great addition to the BikeFest/Rewind programme. The classic bike racing scene in Scotland has undergone a bit of transformation in recent years. There are now fully-fledged National and Knockhill Motor Sports Club Championships for the CB500 class which regularly attracts grids of 20+ bikes.

Classic Bike Track Sessions

We'll be hosting 3 individual 15 minute trackday sessions for classic bike owners, to give you a chance to stretch their legs around our legendary circuit.

 Trackday Sessions

For all bike trackday riders! You can take your own bike out in 3 x 15 minute track sessions.

Supercar Vs Bike Drag Racing

During the lunch break we'll have an upgraded Porsche 911 Turbo supercar (0-60 in 2.6secs) facing off against a BMW Motorrad Central Scotland supplied S1000RR in a drag race up the main straight.

Minimoto Display

Minimoto racing display by kids as young as 6 years old at the Hairpin during the lunchbreak (McIntosh Minibikes). Representatives will be on hand to offer advise and information on mini bike racing. If your child is into bikes and wants to go racing - come along and chat to the guys on how to get involved. It's also a great spectacle as these tiny racers duel head-to-head around the Knockhill tri-oval. The racing is fierce,  thrilling and highly entertaining. Many a bike racer started their careers on mini bikes - who knows, you could be the parent of the next Valentino Rossi.

Super Six Family Fun Day Info

This will be our first 2-wheeled family fun day with lots of additional entertainment on offer to keep the kids amused as you or the grandparents (hint, hint) take a walk down memory lane with some classic and retro bikes on show and on track. If you are a fan of motorbikes from the 70s, 80s and 90s then Knockhill should be your destination of choice on Sunday 10th June.

Additional points of note:

  • FREE admission for kids aged 16 and under
  • FREE admission for all pillion riders
  • Kids and Adult Assault Course
  • Free balloon modelling
