Running at all the best tracks in the UK and Europe, the Avon Tyres British GT Championship holds its rightful place as one of the best National Championships in the World. Top Scottish stars and teams have taken part in this series in the past, including Marino Franchitti and Anthony Reid and teams such as Scuderia Ecosse and CR Scuderia.
The ground will literally shake as the V8's and V10 monsters take to the track, with two 1-hour races on Sunday the 9th. Supporting the GTs is one of the best supporting acts ever with the full selection of action-packed Scottish Championship classes, including Legends, Sports and Saloons, Mini Coopers and XR2s as well as the ultra competitive full field of British Formula Fords!
It's 2 full days of non-stop action of the best GT, Sports, Saloons and Single Seater cars in the UK. Over 10,000hp on track at the same time!
Calendar - The 2010 Avon Tyres British GT Championship will be contested over 14 rounds: 12 one-hour races at Oulton Park, Knockhill, Magny-Cours, Rockingham, Snetterton and Brands Hatch, and two-hour endurance events at Silverstone and Donington Park.
