What is the German Car Show and Hot Hatch Track Day?

It is a car track day and show with track action from 9am to 5pm where we welcome private individuals who want to show off their German car as well as members of Clubs from up and down the country.

What will l see at the German Car Show Live?

The main activity of the day is of course the Hot Hatch track day sessions where you will see individual car owners take to the famous twists and dips of the Knockhill track behind the wheel of a vast array of vehicles including Citroen, Renault, Subaru, BMW and Honda. We’ll also have a dedicated German only session, Off-track you will see an impressive display, both from private individuals and German Car Clubs – all with a single aim – to showcase their pride and joy to an enthusiastic audience. The man-hours alone spent on prepping these cars for the Show ‘n’ Shine element of the show is staggering, and quite simply, it’s hard to believe that some of the cars are more than 40 years old, such is the pristine condition of their presentation.

Why should l come to the German Car Show ?

If you ever had an Audi, BMW, Merc, Opel, Porsche or VW car, back in the day, then come along and see those exact models perfectly restored and immaculately presented for all to see. It’s very much like a time warp as you stroll along the rows and rows of some of the most iconic cars the planet has ever seen, such as MK1 and II VW Golfs (and all the way to the latest version), variants of the iconic Porsche 911, Audi Quattro’s and RS models, and the hugely impressive and dominant M cars from BMW.

How can I display my car at the German Car Show?

You can enter this event by downloading the booking form behind the Documents tab at the bottom of this page. The booking allows Showcar owners to redeem their discounted ticket fee of £8 per car and their passengers will pay the advanced ticket price of £10. Once the form is completed you must then return it to Rory Butcher at roryb@knockhill.co.uk who will process your booking and then send out your tickets and final instructions ahead of the event.

*Individual showcars can turn up on the day of the event but they will need to pay the on the day ticket fee of £13.

Where is the German Car Show Display area?

Our fully tarmaced Paddock 2 area has been allocated as the German Car Show display zone.

If you have any questions in regard to displaying your car at this event then please contact Rory Butcher at roryb@knockhill.co.uk
