6th Scottish Motorfair: The Official Scottish Motorshow - Sat 9th & Sun 10th May 2009
The spectacular ‘MotorFair’, the Official Scottish Motor Show, endorsed by the Scottish Motor Trace Association will take place at Knockhill Racing Circuit, near Dunfermline on Saturday and Sunday, May 9th and 10th.
Now in its 6th year, the show, which provides a great day out for the whole family is firmly established as a ‘must do’ with its varied and exciting content.
19,500 visitors attended MotorFair in 2008 and almost 4,000 demonstration test drives were taken on track and 2,000 off road.

FREE TEST RIDES AVAILABLE - Remember many of the cars on show are also available for you, and your family, to get a test ride around the famous circuit. Simply go to our booking office and reserve a demonstration (subject to availability).
The Kids Zone - FREE face painting, magic shows, goody bags and Funfair. PLUS Scottish Speedway bikes on display.
The Stunt Zone - featuring some of the worlds top performers!
ON TRACK ENTERTAINMENT
MotorFair is different, it’s a live and interactive Motor Show with your chance to see and get a run in a selection of the cars on display. In addition the list of FREE entertainment is the BEST YET and include:
• 2 two hour on track demonstration test rides
• See the finest selection Supercars ever seen in Scotland being driven flat out around the twists and turns of Knockhill.
• Ferrari Owners Club gathering. A full range of classic and modern Ferraris on track for a parade and on display
• Stock car racing demo – see the best of bumper to bumper action as the stock cars take to the track.
• The Official Charity of The Scottish Motor Show is Teenage Cancer Trust which will be providing Morgan and SMRC Sports and Saloon race car passenger rides. A limited number of passenger rides are available for a donation on the day.
• Scottish Sidecar Display – track demo by leading Scottish riders.
OFF TRACK ENTERTAINMENT
TRUCKMANIA – Back by popular demand! See the biggest display of custom, working and fleet trucks North of the A1 Truck stop! These 6, 12 and 18 wheeler monsters are the giants of the road and have paint jobs that will out shine any hot hatch... a case of Pimp My Truck!!
WORLD RECORD ATTEMPT - Go-Fast JET PACK MAN – Back by popular demand and straight from his world record breaking stunt in Arizona, Jet Pack Man will attempt to set a new world speed record over the weekend. Details to be announced. (check out www.gofastjetpackman.com)
BIKEZONE - New for 2009. A zone for all 2 wheel fans. Over 11 trade stands with new bikes, clothing and accessories.
WESTFIELD ACTIVE DRIFT EXPERIENCE - Experience the ultimate thrill ride in a Westfield sports car around the twists and turns of an auto test track layout (charge applicable). It will make your jaw drop at the precision skill of these professional drivers.
UK FMX STUNT TEAM - Bike riding like you’ve never seen before!! Leaping 40ft in the air, back flips, superman leaps and wheelies that are simply unbelievable. Shows 3 times daily in our special stunt zone, these guys are serious about getting beyond the limit.
TEEN DRIVE - New for 2009, the exclusive opportunity for 13 – 16yr olds to get behind the wheel for themselves and receive a taster driving lesson from a professional driving instructor (10 minutes, fee applicable).
COLIN McRAE TRIBUTE – 2 cars on show with sporting memorabilia being auction in aid of Colin McRae Foundation.
MILITARY ZONE - See the BEST of the British Military on display with 2 Challenger Tanks, mobile guns, assault course and climbing wall, and loads of hands on activities to try. Topping the bill will be a car crush by a 60 tonne Challenger Tank, making mincemeat out of a car in its path... Bring your camera!!
4 X 4 ZONE - Experience what it is like to go seriously off road, with 90ft drops, water splashes and side slopes. Free passenger rides available for all, but quick, these spaces go quickly. (subject to availability)
KARTING - Two karting tracks for adults and kids alike, have a go and see who’s quickest as you race to the chequered flag. (fee applicable)
KIDS ZONE AND FUN FAIR - Always a popular part of the show as there is everything for the little ‘uns (and big ‘uns!). Fun fair rides, FREE face painting, dodgems, mini kids disco and much, much more!

• RAF Tornedo Flypast (Sat)
• HMS Gannet Helicopter Rescue Display (Sat). A simulated rescue winching demonstration.
• Golden Lions Parachute Display. Display of precision parachuting by Scotland’s leading parachute display team.
• Bi-Plane Air Display. Loop-the-loop aerobatic display with target balloon bursting.
