Scottish Drifting Spectacular

Saturday 5th November, 2016

There are sure to be fireworks as the final round of the Scottish Drift Cup will take place at Knockhill on Guy Fawkes night. The event will run from dusk to dark as the competitors will battle at high speed door handle to door handle sideways! There will be all the fun and excitement of a November 5th event, sure to me memorable and spectacular too as the cars will be geared up dueling at night under flood lights and Bonfire. The gates will open at 14.00 with track action kicking in to life at 15.00. The event will run into to the evening with a finishing time of 19.00!!

Event Information

The inaugural Scottish Drifting Spectacular will be the final round of the Scottish Drift Cup. The two previous rounds will have been hosted at Driftland and the cream of Scottish Drift drives will be battling out on our course, as used by the British Drifting Championship at the tri-oval hairpin. The majority of cars will be rear wheel drive so they can light up their rear wheels in spectacular style but the very powerful 500 plus bhp 4 wheel drive monsters will also be lighting up the track with their retro fitted LED light systems.

A Show'nShine contest, Fireworks display and Bonfire are planned off track to add to the fun and entertainment of this first ever night time event. The Bonfire will light up the course as darkness sets in on Knockhill!
