MotorFair – The Official Scottish Motor Show - Sat 22nd & Sun 23rd May 2010 (10am - 5pm) - Supported by Celebrating Fife 2010

The spectacular ‘MotorFair’, officially endorsed by the Scottish Motor Trade Association, will take place at Knockhill Racing Circuit, near Dunfermline on Saturday and Sunday, 22nd and 23rd May.

Now in its 7th year the show, which provides a great day out for the whole family, is firmly established as a ‘must do’ with its varied and exciting content. 19,500 visitors attended MotorFair in 2009 and almost 4,000 demonstration test drives were taken on track and 2,000 off road.

The show has such an exciting and varied list of attractions some of which are detailed below:

MOTOR SHOW ZONE- The Scottish motor industry recognises the importance of showcasing their products at Scotland's official Motorshow. Leading manufacturers including Ford, Renault, SEAT, Mercedes, Jeep, Morgan and Nissan have all attended Motorfair.

DEMONSTRATION RIDES - many of the cars on show are also available for you and your family to take a demonstration ride around the famous circuit. Simply go to the booking office and reserve your place (subject to availability).

THE KIDS ZONE - always a popular part of the show as there is everything for the little ‘uns (and big ‘uns!). Fun fair rides, face painting, dodgems, mini kids disco and much, much more!

THE STUNT ZONE - featuring some of the world’s top stunt performers!

ON TRACK - Motorfair is different to practically every other motor show, it’s a live and interactive Motor Show with your chance to both see and be driven in a selection of the cars on display. In addition to the to these demonstration rides there is always other on and off track entertainment to see.

TRUCKMANIA – Back by popular demand! See the biggest display of custom, working and fleet trucks north of the A1 Truck stop! These 6-, 12- and 18-wheel monsters are the giants of the road and have paint jobs that will outshine any hot hatch... a case of Pimp My Truck!!

TEEN DRIVE - New for 2010, the exclusive opportunity for 13 – 16yr olds to get behind the wheel for themselves and receive a taster driving lesson from a professional driving instructor (10 minutes, fee applicable).

MILITARY ZONE - See the BEST of the British Military on display with Challenger Tanks, mobile guns, assault course and climbing wall, and loads of hands-on activities to try. Topping the bill will be the 60 tonne Challenger Tank car crush – the most spectacular Scrappage scheme yet!

4 X 4 ZONE - Experience what it is like to go seriously off road, with 90ft drops, water splashes and side slopes. Free passenger rides available for all, but be quick, these spaces go quickly (subject to availability).

KARTING - Two karting tracks for adults and kids alike: have a go and see who’s quickest as you race to the chequered flag (fee applicable)
