Super Lap Scotland - Rounds 2 & 3 and Japanese Car Show 2020

It's rounds 2 and 3 of the Super Lap Scotland Championship and we have added a our famous Japanese Car Show with a Show & Shine (Sunday only) to this high speed weekend of car action! Not only that, the  Junior Saloon Car Championship  are visiting and Chase race with the BMW Compact Cup will add to the action on both days.

Family - 2 Adults + 2 Concession (not required if children are under 12 yrs)

Kids under 12 do not require a ticket, they are FREE.

Event Information

Its a busy weekend of action! Super Lap Scotland Championship (rounds 2 and 3), Chase Series race combined with the Scottish BMW Compact Cup contenders and the rising stars of the future in the Junior Saloon Car Championship will all be competing on track. 

On Saturday 9th, the track action will be on the reverse direction configuration as some of Scotlands fastest saloon and sports car competitors challenge the unique configuration. See everything from the unlimited Pro class with up to 800hp and more blast round the circuit, as well as all the other classes of modified, road, track and retro cars battle for class honours. All will be chasing the coveted "King of the Hill" title.  On Sunday, 10th, action will revert to the traditional clockwise format. 

Within Paddock 2 the rivalry continues, with some of Scotland’s most stunning Japanses cars will be on display with 100's of cars on display and in competition for the Show & Shine contest. 

Event Overview:

  • Super Lap Scotland – Round 2 and 3 of the seven round Championship featuring some of the fastest modified cars in Scotland, battling to put their hands on the 2020 title
  • Chase Series and BMW Compact Cup - The pinnacle of the day, an all-or-nothing race open to all Super Lap Scotland classes and based on a time aggregate format to ensure an open playing field.
  • Japanese Show & Shine contest with a wide array of special machinery on display
  • Knockhill also has its own play park and children are welcome to use the slides and swings.

Chargeable activities:

  • Sample our fleet of Adult and Cadet Karts on our 500 metre outdoor track for just £10 for 10 mins. Suitable for kids aged 8 and upwards (subject to track availability).

Event Disclaimer

Please remember that Knockhill is an outdoor venue and you should dress appropriately for that. There can be changeable weather conditions therefore extra clothing and sensible footwear is advised with trainer type shoes or walking boots preferred (no leather soles or high heels please). Being on a hillside, the spectator bankings and some pathways are steep, so please take extra care when moving around the site. As we are a motorsport venue, no dogs are allowed on site apart from Guide Dogs. Additional clothing, hats, gloves and sun cream can be purchased from the Circuit Office should you require. How to get here

Knockhill Racing Circuit is located on the A823, for SATNAV our postcode is KY12 9TF

If travelling from East/South, head to Junction 4, M90 Kelty.

If travelling from West, please head over the new Clackmannan Bridge and head on the A977 and turn tight at Powmill.

If heading from the North, motorway signs will say exit Junction 6, you can also head to Junction 4 as an alternative route.

All routes have brown Tourist Board direction signage.

The drop off area for taxi's etc. will be at the main gate.

Parking

All parking is on site, you can drive all around the outside of the circuit to view from your preferred area.

Disabled Parking

For disabled spectators you can drive around the outside of the circuit and also in the disabled parking area overlooking the hairpin.

The weather

Always a topical subject at Knockhill, quite simply, come prepared for all weathers.

Drones: Due to CAA safety regulations the flying and use of drones are strictly forbidden at Knockhill Racing Circuit .

General Information

  • Knockhill FM broadcasts on 87.7FM and will be on-air all weekend. Txt them for a shout on 07843 478441
  • No Pets or Animals will be allowed entry to the venue, please ensure you leave them at home and not left in the car.
  • The circuit office will be open from 7.30am to 5pm if you need any help or assistance, you can pop in or call on 01383 723337.
  • Official Knockhill Merchandise is available at the circuit office.
  • Mobile Food Outlets are located throughout the venue as well as our onsite restaurants, Champions Clubhouse and Kinnaird's restaurant.
  • Karting - pre-booking is advised as 'arrive and drive' is not always available.
