Event Information

Off track we will also be hosting a Gymkhana Cup Series event which will see some of the UK’s best Gymkhana competitors’ battle on a custom built track in cars boasting upwards of 900bhp. We’ll see stunning Escorts, 4x4 Subarus, and impressive rear wheel drive Drift cars. They’ll do battle, against the clock, for Gymkhana supremacy. The track will utilise Paddock 2 and the Knockhill hairpin; with competitors being asked to perform tasks (360s, handbrake turns) and navigate course obstacles, whilst all-the-while, trying to maintain their speed, precision and cool to top the timesheets against a highly competitive field.

On track, we will have up to 150 drivers take to the Knockhill track, with exclusive Vauxhall only sessions, so if you fancy taking to the track, even for the first time, and you have a Vauxhall car, then make this event your one for getting on track! Off track, there will be Club stands and parades of the cars on show.

The main features of the event will include:

  • Hot Hatch track sessions – all makes and models of vehicle welcome
  • Gymkhana event with high powered precision driving against the clock
  • Clubs and private owners showcasing an eclectic mix of Vauxhall models
  • Show ‘n’ Shine competitions with trophies for ‘best in class’ models
  • Trade Stands promoting car care products and accessories

What is the Vauxhall Car Show and Hot Hatch Car Trackday?

It is a car track day and show with track action from 9am to 5pm where we welcome private individuals who want to show off their Vauxhall car as well as members of Clubs from up and down the country.

What will l see at the Vauxhall Car Show?

The main activity of the day is of course the Hot Hatch Car Trackday sessions where you will see individual car owners take to the famous twists and dips of the Knockhill track behind the wheel of a vast array of vehicles including Citroen, Renault, Subaru, BMW and Honda. We’ll also have a dedicated Vauxhall only session. Off-track you will see an impressive display, both from private individuals and Vauxhall Car Clubs – all with a single aim – to showcase their pride and joy to an enthusiastic audience.

Why should l come to the Vauxhall Car Show?

There will be action where ever you look with the on track driving sessions and off track, the spectacular Gymkhana challenge where drivers will be duelling against the clock. Add in a great line up of Vauxhall road, track and competition cars, the inaugural Vauxhall Car Show is shaping up to be a major event for this popular marque.
