Ever thought about becoming a volunteer Bike Racing Marshal?
Knockhill Motor Sports Club are hosting a Racesafe Scottish Marshals Training Day on Sunday 11th March from 8.30am – 4pm. If you are interested in attending please email email@example.com
Marshalling at Knockhill Motor Sports Club (KMSC) Bike Race Meetings
KMSC are always looking for more volunteer marshals for our events. As a marshal, you will be joining a team of enthusiasts who enjoy their bike sport and are genuinely a great bunch of guys and girls!
Training – Although we run the specific marshals training day in March we also do ‘on the job’ training which means you can come to any event and you will be allocated to a corner with an experienced marshal who will give you the training ‘on post’.
What to wear – We will provide you with an orange suit for marshalling, please wear warm clothing for underneath and sturdy footwear.
You can volunteer for as many race meets at as you like, KMSC run 4 meetings a year. Ideally we would love to have you at every weekend but we understand if you can only do certain events!
What happens on your first day – Come along to any event, arrive by 8am and ask for Bob Davies or Alan McNair who are the Chief Marshals, you will sign on in the marshals building and the CM will team you up with the experienced marshal who will help you on the day. Breakfast rolls and lunch are provided.
