Event Information

Hot Hatch Sessions Available

We will be running Hot Hatch Track day sessions throughout the day. These sessions will give you the chance to get on the Knockhill tarmac behind the wheel of your own car. If you’ve never done a track day before, worry not; we’ll give you a full safety briefing before venturing out on track. This ensures you are perfectly equipped to tackle the twists and dips of Knockhill, normally reserved for some of Scotland’s and the UK’s top racing championships. To book your Tracktime please follow this link; Hot Hatch Booking

We’re looking forward to hosting our first American themed Show Car and Trackday event on Sunday 24th June. Here’s an edited list of what’s on:

  • Classic & Modern American Cars
  • Show ‘N’ Shine Competitions
  • Awards and Trophies for best in class
  • Parade laps around Knockhill for showing cars
  • Hot Hatch Trackday Action
  • American Trackday Sessions (subject to numbers)
  • Music by Cherry Red ‘53
  • Dunfermline Kings American Football team

What will l see at the American Motor Show?

It's two events in one! The main live activity of the day is, of course, the track day sessions where you will see individual car owners take to the famous twists and dips of the Knockhill track behind the wheel of a vast array of vehicles including Citroen, Renault, Subaru, BMW and Honda. We’ll also have dedicated American only sessions where you’ll see some of the most iconic U.S. models being put through their paces on track including Cadillac, Dodge. Ford, Chevrolet, Tesla and much, much more.

Off-track is event number two! You will see all kinds of American cars on display, both from private individuals and American Owners’ Car Clubs – all with a single aim – to showcase their pride and joy to an enthusiastic audience. The man-hours alone spent on prepping these cars for the Showcar element of the show is staggering, and quite simply, it is hard to believe that some of the cars are more than 40 years old, such is the pristine condition of their presentation.

Why should l come to the American Motor Show?

It’s a great family day out for all American fans! If you ever had an American car, bike or truck this event is for you! It’s very much like a time warp as you stroll along the rows and rows of some of the most iconic cars the planet has ever seen, such as Dodge Vipers and Ford Mustangs, GTs and Corvettes. There will also be a large display of American bikes and trucks on the day and we'll even have American themed food and entertainment on show to make this a great celebration of everything American!

How To Take Part:

We’d like to invite anyone with an American car, truck, pickup or bike along to the show. It’s free to exhibit your car and anyone showing a car will get free entry to the event as well. Any accompanying passengers on the day will also receive admission at the concession rate price (£8 in advance and £10 on the day).

Our Show ‘n’ Shine competitions are always a popular addition to these events and we’ll have trophies and goodies up for grabs in the following classes - pre 80s, 81-00, and post 2000 vehicles. It’s simple to get yourself involved, just head on over to our show car booking form and let us know what you are bringing, and how many passenger tickets you’ll require (at the concession rate).
