BikeFest featuring Rewind Festival 2020

Sunday 28th June, 2020

Please Note: This event has been postponed. We’re currently working on a revised events schedule and we’ll announce details within the next few weeks. We’ll endeavour to include as many of the postponed events as possible. In the meantime, we’d like to thank you all for your patience during this period of uncertainty and look forward to getting some action underway very soon. If you have purchased tickets, they will still be valid for any revised date. If those dates are not suitable then refunds will be issued. Pleas keep an eye out on our website and social channels for those impending announcements. Thank you!

BikeFest featuring Rewind comes back to Knockhill on Sunday 28th June; which will have an array of bike related activities on and off track for race fans. Topping the bill will once again will be endurance racing – The Knockhill 50 and Knockhill 100. Teams of two riders will attempt to circulate the track in each of the 50 and 100 lap races quicker than their rivals – with rider swaps and race strategy the order of the day. The action will be fast and frantic as teams attempt to out-think and outperform their opponents over the unique twists and dips of the Knockhill track.

Off track we’ll be hosting our Classic Rewind festival featuring bikes from the 70s, 80s and 90s. Expect to see some iconic machinery on show from the likes of Suzuki, Ducati, Yamaha and some names from yesteryear including Harris and Laverda. With Rewind track sessions set aside for these bikes, a number of owner’s will be venturing out on track with their machinery – filling the hills around Knockhill with the sounds and smell of years gone by.

Event Information

Sprint Races

We’ll have exclusive race content from the Scottish CB500 community. The CB500s are making a comeback and at BikeFest we’ll have 2 races to entertain you on the day.

Endurance Races

As part of Bikefest, we will be running two very special endurance bike races on the day.

The Knockhill 100 is a 100 lap endurance race for teams of two open to all Formula 600s/Clubman/Superbike riders.

The Knockhill 50 will be a 50 lap endurance race for teams of two open to all Lightweights/Pre-Injection 600/CB500 riders.

Rewind Classic Festival

Step back in time with some of the most iconic names in bike history with our static display.  Anyone with a classic bike can display their machine at the festival for free.  Knockhill Club president, Niall Mackenzie will also be on site and on track aboard some of his all-time favourite machinery (Fizzy’s and LCs – as he puts it)

We'll also have our 'Spit and Polish' competitions for all showing bikes. Trophies and prizes up for grabs with the best 70s, 80, and 90s bikes receiving awards - as well as the 'Best in Show' award presented at the end of the day by Niall himself.

Classic Rewind Parade Laps

Every year, we invite all showing bikers out onto track for a quick parade lap. It's a nice amble around the twists and dips of Knockhill aboard your favourite machine. A great way to showcase the sight, sound and smell of some of these iconic bikes in motion.

Minimoto Display

Minimoto racing display by kids as young as 6 years old at the Hairpin during the lunchbreak (McIntosh Minibikes). Representatives will be on hand to offer advise and information on mini bike racing. If your child is into bikes and wants to go racing - come along and chat to the guys on how to get involved. It's also a great spectacle as these tiny racers duel head-to-head around the Knockhill tri-oval. The racing is fierce,  thrilling and highly entertaining. Many a bike racer started their careers on mini bikes - who knows, you could be the parent of the next Valentino Rossi.

Event Disclaimer

Please remember that Knockhill is an outdoor venue and you should dress appropriately for that. There can be changeable weather conditions therefore extra clothing and sensible footwear is advised with trainer type shoes or walking boots preferred (no leather soles or high heels please). Being on a hillside, the spectator bankings and some pathways are steep, so please take extra care when moving around the site. As we are a motorsport venue, no dogs are allowed on site apart from Guide Dogs. Additional clothing, hats, gloves and sun cream can be purchased from the Circuit Office should you require. We look forward to seeing you at Knockhill and very much hope you enjoy your visit.
