Just in time for the new season, our second Hot Hatch of the year provides an excellent opportunity for additional track time for competitors and Trackday drivers alike. This is normally a busy Trackday and spectators will likely see a whole host of machinery, from private individuals to competitors out on track. Off track there is always plenty to see and do if you are into your motorsport, oodles of Subarus, Evos and Focuses fill the paddock, with most of their owner’s keen to showcase and discuss their latest modifications. Newcomers are always welcome, and the atmosphere is always a welcoming and inclusive one.
Who are Hot Hatch Days for?
Our Hot Hatch events offer a safe and controlled environment to test the full capabilities of your own car, away from the public highway. Head out onto the famous Knockhill track and participate in one of our trackday sessions (road and track cars eligible). Alternatively, the day also offers car enthusiasts and clubs, a location to meet and spend some time with their members/friends; whist also watching or participating on track.
What is this webpage for?
Via this page you can purchase spectator tickets for our Hot Hatch Trackday (various dates throughout the year). We’ll also have a number of additional Hot Hatch dates, starring alongside our Super Lap Scotland Championship season. See the events calendar for full listings and availability.
When are the Hot Hatches held?
Our Hot Hatch Sessions take place throughout the year (mostly Sundays). Traditionally, our Hot Hatch events take place once per month - during the off-season, and every 6-8 weeks during the season.
Where do these events take place?
All Hot Hatch Trackdays take place at Knockhill Racing Circuit. We also have a number of Car Show events where you can participate by showing your vehicle/club, particularly at our themed Ford and Japanese days. There are also a number of other Trackday and Driving Experience options if you fancy heading out on track.
Why would l want to attend?
If you are into motorsport, racing or tuning then our Hot Hatch Trackdays offer the ideal environment to connect with like-minded people, whether that’s on track or simply in the paddock. Our Knockhill FM Radio station broadcasts throughout the event and you can also participate in our FREE to enter Drift and Drag racing lunchtime competitions. There’s always plenty to see on track, with upwards of 30 cars participating on track at any given time.
What if I fancy having a go on track?
Great, we are always open to newcomers, and you’ll receive a full safety briefing before heading out on track. There are also a number of rules and flag signals you’ll need to be aware of, but we’ll give you this information on the day. Trackday sessions can be booked via our Trackday Website (http://trackdays.knockhill.com) or you can simply turn up on the day and ask to head on out (subject to availability – it’s always wiser to pre-book).
