World Champion’s Son to feature at British GTs

Josh Hill, son of 1996  F1 World Champion Damon Hill OBE and grandson of 1962/68 World Champion Graham, will be racing in the Formula Ford support races as part of the British GT Meeting at Knockhill on 13th/14th June.

Josh started competing in Ginetta Juniors in 2008, claiming a championship third place, and went on to win the Ginetta Junior Winter Championship with two race victories. He has switched to single seater British Formula Ford this year, driving a Mygale run by Jamun Racing. Thus far he has accrued 30 championship points in the British Championship, but with his Knockhill experience (and his racing forebears) hopes are high for a place on the podium.

Last year, Damon attended his son’s racing at Knockhill, but at this stage it is not known if the former World Champion and president of the British Racing Drivers’ Club will be present.
