Our Hot Marques Trackday Evenings give you an ideal opportunity to test the full capabilities of your car around the twists and dips of the Knockhill Circuit. Cars participating in these must be valued at £15,000 and upwards. Typical marques seen on a Hot Marques Trackday Evening include Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche, Lotus, Subaru, Mitsubishi plus other fantastic makes and models. These events are specifically for supercar owners and the focus is firmly based on fun. Like minded enthusiasts will give you a warm reception and the Knockhill track will offer an exciting and exilarating test for any famous marque.
Start/FinishTimes: Hot Marques Trackday Evenings normally run from 6pm till 8pm. In winter months times can be amended as daylight saving becomes an issue.
Circuit Entry: All cars participating in a Hot Marques Trackday must be driven to the circuit and be road legal. No race cars will be permitted to enter a Hot Marques session. We suggest if you have a race/track car then you look at our Speed Sunday car trackdays. Gates will be open from 4.30pm for a Hot Marques Evening.
Registration: Takes place in Kinnairds Restaurant (next to Karting Centre). Drivers and additional drivers will have to sign-on here before being allowed out on track. All passengers will sign on in the Helmet Store. Drivers can now download the registration form and bring it with them on the day to save time. DOWNLOAD REGISTRATION FORM HERE.
Drivers Licence: All drivers/additional drivers must have a full VALID UK drivers licence. Licences must be shown at sign-on. PLEASE NOTE: NO LICENCE = NO DRIVING! Please also note that DVLA licence checks (subject to DVLA opening hours) can be arranged on the day but will be subject to a £10.00 administration charge.
Safety Briefing: All drivers/additional drivers must attend the safety briefing. Those that don’t attend will not be allowed onto the circuit. Briefings will start at approximately 5.45pm so please ensure you leave ample time to arrive and register at the circuit.
Helmets: Both drivers and passengers must wear a full crash helment when driving on track. You can bring your own or helmets are available for hire at the circuit
Noise Limit: Knockhill Racing Circuit has a noise limit of 105db.
Sessions: A Hot Marques Trackday evening will run as an open session. A maximum of 50 cars will be permitted to enter the 2 hour open session. Open sessions give you the opportunity to go on and off track as many times as you wish throughout the time period. Note a maximum of 32 cars will be allowed on track at any one time (some waiting time may apply).
Parking: Cars can park in the main paddock when they are not out on track. Cars will then enter the holding area to go on track. Drivers will wait in this area before a marshal calls you forward into the pitlane, from here you’ll proceed on track when instructed by the light signals at the end of the pit lane.
Basic Checklist: No oil, fuel or any other fluid leaks, ensure vehicle has all wheel nuts, brake lights must work (cars with no brake lights cannot go on track), battery must be secured properly, seat belt mounting must be secure, seat must be secure and please remove any old scrutineering stickers.
Exclusions: No race cars are allowed out on a Hot Marques trackday evening and all cars must be valued at £15,000 and upwards.
