Minutes applause for tributes today at Jock Taylor Superprix

An actioned packed lunchbreak has been lined up today from 11.20am onwards to add the spectacle of top class sidecar and solo racing at the Jock Taylor Sidecar Superprix. One of the most appropriate Minute of Applause is being organised for the two Scottish Heroes, Jock Taylor and Bob McIntyre. Sadly both stars were killed on the same date of August 15th, co-incidently todays date, making todays 30th Anniversary Jock Taylor all the more special.

The lunchbreak will kick off with world champ stunt rider Kevin Camichael warming up his stunt skills as the pit lane opens for spectators to see the sidecar machines in all their glory in the pit lane garages. A great mini moto demo will then happen at the hairpin, followed by the minute applause, ending with a parade lap of James Neil, one of Jocks passengers.

There will also be the chance for you to get on to the famous track itself as the Knockhill team are on hand to give free passenger rides to all in the SEAT Cupras. See just what its like to see it from the riders point of view. Spaces subject to availability. Kevin Carmichael will then be out two further times to woo the crowd with his amazing skills.

We look forward to welcoming you today for this very special event. Gates are open, with adult admission only £15, concessions are £8.
