Knockhill hosted it’s first BTCC wedding yesterday, Joanna and Callum completed their wedding vows with the sound of racing cars screaming past in the background. Luckily the happy couple managed to block out the surrounding noise and maintain a degree of composure to join together in marriage.
Gordon Shedden was on hand to congratulate the happy couple, both of whom are huge motor sport fans.
“It’s definitely a first for Knockhill and probably the BTCC, we all wish Joanna and Callum a very long and fruitful life together,” commented Shedden.
Asked whether this might become a regular thing at Knockhill and whether Gordon would consider becoming a wedding registrar he simply replied, “Eh, NO!”
