70 year old scoops Knockhill Rally Award

John Creanor (70) from Galasheils got more than he bargained for when he tackled the Knockhill Rally Experience this week. John managed to scoop the ‘Driver of the Day’ award, fending off stiff competition from a trio of family members from Dumfires.

Identical twins David and Scott Sloan ended the day in third place, although only separated at birth by a mere 9 minutes, the duo couldn’t be split on the Knockhill Rally course scoring the same points. Dad, David Senior, faired slightly better and managed to pip is young sons into second place. All four guys are pictured with senior Knockhill Instructor Sasha Brunton.

A delighted John commented:

“I’ll thrilled and shocked in equal measure, l think a career in Rallying awaits.”
