SB’s Luca Scassa joins Niall Mac Superbike School

Padgett’s Honda rider Luca Scassa joined a host of BSB riders at Knockhill today for the Niall Mackenzie Superbike School. The Italian, in his first season in the MCE British Superbikes used the trackday as a sighting mission ahead of the BSB event in June.

“Everybody told me it would be a small track, but it’s of a good shape, very fluent. The track is very physical and there really isn’t anywhere were you can catch your breath. It’s very nice.

“I must say thanks to Padgett’s for allowing me to test all the new circuits. Sometimes you don’t get a chance to drive the track, but it’s good to come and get on track and get some data.

“Everybody is fast in BSB, it’s a top level and I’m getting up to pace on the superbike, so l’m looking forward to the rest of the season,” said Scassa.

Scassa was joined on track by a number of BSB competitors including Stuart Easton, Tyalor Mackenzie and Knockhill’s own Dennis Hobbs, fresh from his commentary stint at the weekend.

The next Niall Mackenzie Superbike School will run in reverse direction on Fri 1st June – 9am – 5pm. Suitable for all levels of rider, it’s full-on track riding with expert advice, tips and tuition from 3 times British Superbike Champion, Niall Mackenzie and friends!
