Wealth of talent at Knockhill Stock Cars this Wednesday

This Wednesday (27th June at 6pm) sees the Knockhill Stock Car Summer Series continue on the Knockhill tri-oval. If you have never been to a Stock Car event, then we suggest you make your way to us this week for some eye popping entertainment.

Alan Kirkcaldy celebrates his British F2 victory earlier this year!

The upcoming round at Knockhill also dovetails as a BriSCA F2 World Championship qualifying round. Lining up alongside three World Champions (Mark Simpson, Gordon Moodie and Chris Burgoyne), will be new British F2 Champion Alan Kirkcaldy who will be looking to continue his recent form on the tri-oval circuit. There may also be some major players from south of the border lining up at Knockhill in search of those extremely valuable qualification points.

This week’s action also includes Saloon Stock Cars, Stock Rods and Lightening Rods. Expect fast, frantic and extremely competitive racing action from some of Scotland’s best Stock car racers.

In the Saloon Stock races, National points Champion Stuart Shevill Jnr. is the man to beat, Shevill however will have a close eye on Nationals Champion, Gordon Alexander. Whilst, David Hughes comes to Knockhill off the back of some fine results last time out.

The Stock Rods come to Knockhill in great shape, after entertaining all at Cowdenbeath Racewall at the weekend. The likes of Grant McGowan, James Halkett and James Gray will be pushing hard for victory. Traditionally though, it is brothers, Chris and Jonathan Lattka who really go well at Knockhill. Elsewhere in the field, looking for good points hauls this week will be Siobhan Martin, Michael Bethune and Alasdair Roger.

Join us from 6pm on Wednesday evening for 3 hours worth of exhilarating racing.

On the gate admission is: Adults £10, Concessions £5 and Kids under 12 go free! Advanced discount tickets will be available until 2pm tomorrow!
