At the next SMRC race day on June 21st, Knockhill are proud to be hosting our first ever ARMED FORCES APPRECIATION DAY. In addition to a super race meeting, we have over 50 Super cars (including Ferrari’s, Astons. Lamborghini’s and Rolls Royce) parked on display near the karting centre, on display and a parade during the lunch break. Their owners will provide road passenger rides to Service people and for others for a donation to Armed Forces Charities – up to 5 will be designated each hour to do the road rides. This will be a great sight and our thanks go to all the owners for their time and cars and we hope to raise good funds for the charities.
All contacts in the Army, Navy and Air Forces are spreading the word so we hope for a great turn out. Any current serving Forces personnel and Veterans will get in FREE and any accompanying them will get in for our concessionary rate.
We will have the Scottish Military Vehicle Group here with up to 20 vehicles on show, dressed as below. A great selection of all types of military vehicles will be on show with the owners and enthusiasts more than happy to chat about their vehicles, motorcycles and war time bicycles.
