SLS Rounds 3 & 4 Summary – Classes E & F

Action from classes E and F from the latest Super Lap Scotland powered by Rockstar Energy Drink double-header that saw both track configurations of Knockhill used throughout the weekend of 8/9 July.

Check out the action below.

Class F saw Marshall Wishart take a double win, following a fraught start to the year at rounds 1 and 2. However, the main talking point from the July meeting had to be the roll in which saw Neil Methven crash out at Duffus Dip heading into McInytre’s during free practice on Sunday morning. Remarkably, Neil along with his team and fellow competitors managed to get the car back out for qualifying and the finals; with Neil ending the day with a heroic 3rd place finish on the day. That superb effort sees Methven still abreast of the Championship standings as we move into rounds 5/6 on 26/27 August.

In Class E, the weekend saw two different winners on two very different days. Dry for Saturday’s encounter – which saw Fraser Jamieson take his 2nd win of the season. Whilst on Sunday, Steven McNab finally sampled the sweet taste of success as he rounded out the day on top of the time sheets in damp and blustery conditions at Knockhill.
