It’s a whole new experience for the SMRC field this weekend as we switch things up a little and go racing on the Reverse Circuit for the first time since the early 90s.
Some drivers have already sampled the track on Reverse test and track nights, but for the vast-majority Sunday will be like racing on a completely new circuit. You’d think, surely the track couldn’t be that different… right… it’s the same corners just ran in the opposite direction. But, trust us… it’s not. Of all the guys we’ve spoken too – everyone has commented on how different the track feels compared to the clockwise/traditional derivative.
It’s will be interesting to see if the established SMRC orders in each class prevail on the Reverse Circuit or whether the new layout gives other competitors a chance to shine! With so much to learn on weekend – #NewCorners #NewBrakingZones #WeOvertakingPlaces it will be intriguing to see who can learn the most and conquer the Reverse track nuances quicker than anyone else.
