Following on from the “Notification” email you may have received from Knockhill Racing Circuit on Saturday 7th September, both ourselves, and our third party promotional mailing platform ‘MailChimp’ have completed a thorough investigation and are now confident that our account is secure and that the customer data stored within the platform is 100% intact.
We believe that the spam email that was sent was exactly that, and we believe the only risk, even if you had clicked on it, was to confirm that your email address was active and as a result you may receive more spam email to the associated address. We sincerely apologise for this and would hope that most modern mailing platforms (Gmail, BT, Hotmail etc.) will catch those emails in their anti-spam filters.
