The Bennetts British Superbike Championship (BSB) - brings some of the best bike racers in the world back to Knockhill for three days of 180mph wheel-to-wheel action on 28/29/30 June 2019. Knockhill’s twists and turns always produce stunning elbow-to-elbow action for these 180mph Superbikes. This year we saw lap records set across all the major classes and with a second year’s worth of experience on Knockhill’s new surface – could the times drop yet further?

A cracking support package will provide plenty of entertainment for bike racing fans, in between two awesome BSB races. Event Information

The Bennetts British Superbike Championship in association with Pirelli will head north for their annual road trip to Scotland over the weekend of  28/29/30 June 2019.

The Bennetts British Superbike events at Knockhill… it’s one of our headline events of the season and a mecca for all bike racing enthusiasts of all ages. It will see top teams and riders from the UK and abroad, compete for 3 days over the action-packed twists and dips of Knockhill. Exhilarating racing action is guaranteed - with practice, qualifying and 16 races to entertain and enthral over the weekend.

The British Superbike events have become much more than just a race-meeting, it's a real festival gathering with entertainment, action and enjoyment for all; with ultra-competitive racing that will have you on tenterhooks throughout!!

It's a fabulous festival of speed featuring:

  • 3-days of non-stop British Championship bike racing with teams of Honda, Suzuki, Ducati, Kawasaki, Yamaha and BMW.
  • 16-race schedule with two Bennetts British Superbike races on Sunday 30th June
  • BSB Datatag Extreme Qualifying on Saturday 29th June
  • Support racing from some of the UK’s top Championships
  • Watch some of the world’s best riders including, Brookes, Mossey, Irwin, Mackenzie and the future stars in the support races
  • Thursday night camping is available
  • Weekend Camping available - Friday to Monday (inclusive)

  • Three giant screens to follow all the action

Action starts on Friday 28th June with a number of warm up sessions for all classes. Saturday will see support qualifying, the intriguing BSB elimination-style qualification process and support class racing in the afternoon. Sunday 30th June  (raceday) will feature exhilarating support class racing and two feature races for the British Superbike riders.

The Pirelli National Superstock 600 Championship is designed to identify new riding talent and provide a progression route to higher classes of racing. This class is strictly for riders aged 16-25; previous champions have all progressed onto British Supersport or Superbike rides.

Knockhill are delighted to be providing camping space for any fans who wish to make a weekend of The British Superbike event. If you are considering camping for the weekend, then please make sure you read the important camping info, which can be found in the Downloads section, before booking your tickets. The campsite is available to Early Arrival ticket purchasers from 12 pm on Thursday 27th June and Friday 28th June from 09.00 for General Camping ticket holders. We are very proud to be providing our spectators with 3 giant screens for the third British Superbike event in a row. This investment will further enhance the experience of BSB fans over the weekend. The screens will be located at the Hairpin, Leslie's as well as the centre of the circuit (facing Chicane & Clarks), so an estimated 90% of spectators will not only see the live action in front of them but follow the race around the whole track, see replays and the pre and post race interviews as well. Another great reason to come to the Superbikes on June 28th-30th June.

For the fifth year running, we'll be opening the gates to the track after the final race on Sunday 30th June to do an American style touch-the-track event. Spectators can flood onto the track and walk the famous twists and dips of Knockhill to view the circuit from a rider's perspective - a brilliant way to finish off your BSB weekend!

Our Karting Centre will also be open to 6pm, allowing adults and kids to participate in a spot of racing of their very own in our new fleet of Sodi kids and adult karts. Places can be booked throughout the day from £10 for 10-minute sessions. Simply call into the Kart Centre on the day for timings and availability.

The British Superbike weekend has lots more to offer you than just the incredible bike racing. One of the best features of an event of this scale is the wide range of Trade Stands on offer. You will find team/rider merchandise, leathers, gloves, helmets and various other motorcycle accessories. So come join us and grab a bargain! The main Trade Village will be located at the Hairpin Corner flat pad and you'll find the second Trade Zone on the Main Straight flat pad, adjacent to the Go Kart Centre.

Just in-case the glorious sunshine abates for a while, you'll be able to take cover in our recently installed shelters at Duffus Dip and Scotsman corners, adding to the existing Clark and Hairpin shelters. Hopefully, these will only be used to shelter you from the blistering sunshine come race day.


Tickets for all three days of the event can be bought on line up to midnight the day before each day. For example, Saturday or the full weekend tickets can be booked until midnight Friday via our website (discounted advance prices). Weekend tickets can be purchased at the gate on Saturday at a slightly higher rate, the special discount is for online advance booking only by Friday midnight. Phone orders can also be taken on 01383 723337 during normal working hours. Tickets for Sunday (main race day) can be booked until midnight on Saturday (discounted advance prices).

Alternatively all tickets will be available at the gate on all three days with the on the day prices applicable.

If you have bought in advance, then all tickets bought via the website or phone (01383 723337) will be posted out up until midday on the Wednesday prior to the event, thereafter the tickets will be held in 'Ticket Collection', located on the hairpin gate approach road. Kids under 12 do not require a ticket, they are FREE.

Pitwalk - There is no charge this year for the pitwalk on the Sunday of the event. There will be a queueing system in place. 

How to get here

Knockhill Racing Circuit is located on the A823, for SATNAV our postcode is KY12 9TF

If travelling from East/South, head to Junction 4, M90 Kelty.

If travelling from West, please head over the new Clackmannan Bridge and head on the A977 and turn tight at Powmill.

If heading from the North, M90 motorway signs will say exit Junction 6, you can also head to Junction 4 as an alternative route.

All routes have Tourist Board direction signage.

Taxi Drop Offs

The drop off area for taxi's etc. Will be next to the TICKET COLLECTION POINT, this area will have a suitable turning area and access to exit routes. Pedestrians should then proceed to the pedestrian gates to purchase tickets / display passes.

Arriving at the Circuit

All traffic on Friday & Saturday will enter the venue via the main drive.

On Sunday there are two entrance points in operation. Most traffic travelling from the West (via Kincardine Bridge, Perthshire) will enter via the main drive, unless disabled or on a motorcycle, all vehicle access to the circuit is through the hairpin gate (Gate A). Traffic from the East (Edinburgh, Dunfermline) will enter via Gate D at McIntyre's corner. EXCEPTIONS - traffic must NOT enter via Gate D if you have an official vehicle pass, you hold a VIP or season vehicle pass, if you are on a motorcycle, if you are disabled or you have tickets to collect at Ticket Collection. If you are travelling from the East and your situation is listed in the Exceptions list you should enter via the main drive and follow the signs.


Spectators must enter via the main drive only and head for the collection point which is clearly signed.


Please follow the directions from the stewards, they are there to assist and will get you in and out of the venue as soon as they can.

Please clearly display any passes, disabled car passes, season passes as visibly as possible.

Please also ensure you have your money ready if you are paying at the gate to help speed up the entry process.

When you park up please take notice of the car park signage to identify where you have parked your car.


We have a limited number of disabled parking spaces on the main straight.

The Weather

As we are an outdoor venue, please dress appropriately for the forecast and we advise to wear trainer type or outdoor shoes

General Information

  • Knockhill FM broadcasts on 87.7FM and will be on-air all weekend.
  • If you wish to Text the Tower for a shout out, you can do so via 07941 808552
  • All routes to Knockhill will be very busy this weekend. Please give yourself appropriate time to get to the Circuit. There will be delays, but hopefully we can keep these to a minimum with your help and co-operation.
  • No Pets or Animals will be allowed entry to the venue, please ensure you leave them at home.
  • The Circuit Office will be open Sat 8am - 6pm and Sunday 7.30am to 6pm if you need any help or assistance, you can pop in or call on 01383 723337.
  • Trades stands are located at the hairpin and main straight.
  • Official Knockhill Merchandise is available at the circuit office and a display is at the hairpin trade area.
  • Mobile Food Outlets are located throughout the venue as well as our onsite restaurants, Champions Clubhouse and Kinnaird's restaurant.
  • Arrive and Drive Karting will be operating for Kids 8yrs plus and Adults throughout the weekend from just £10 for 10 minutes, visit the Karting Centre for the timetable and full Info.


When leaving the site and turning on to the A823 there be no restriction on the direction of travel, you will be able to turn left or right out of the circuit, you must drive carefully as there will be queueing traffic and traffic light control. If you are on a motorcycle do not attempt to leave via McIntyre's gate as the roadway is very steep, use the alternative exit as signposted.

Camping Information

Opening and departure times

  • Thursday night early arrival ticket purchasers can access from 12pm on Thursday
  • General camping will be open from 8am on the Friday. 
  • Closed from 12pm on Monday - no extra charge to stay over on Sunday night!

Tickets - Please ensure you have bought the correct tickets. When you arrive you must present to the gate your Weekend Camping Ticket. You will exchange this ticket for a campsite wristband which will gain you access throughout the weekend. Please ensure you keep your wristband on at all times, there will be regular patrols by staff and you may be asked to show your wristband. Any visitors not wearing a wristband will be asked to leave the campsite an hour after the track activity has ended.

Caravans / Motorhomes / Vans - there is no surcharge for bringing your caravan/motorhome/van. Please note that NO AWNINGS ARE PERMITTED. The reason for this is due to the restricted space we have on the campsite. All cars will be parked in the nearby car park.

Vehicles on Campsite - Cars are permitted on the campsite if campers are staying onsite all weekend. To restrict vehicle movement and for safety, if you intend to leave the circuit you will be parked in the campsite car park. Scooters are not permitted.

Under 16's - Campers under 16 years must be accompanied by an adult.

Food and Drink - The 2 main on site restaurants will be open from Friday until Sunday. The Clubhouse bar (burgers, chips, etc) will be open until 11pm on Friday and Saturday. Kinnairds restaurant will also be open late for evening meals both nights. There are a number of mobile catering units based around the venue which will be open during the day. The clubhouse will have a disco on the Saturday evening.

Animals - Strictly no animals are allowed on site at any time.

Items not allowed in the campsite - Fireworks, Firewood, Chinese Lanterns, Scooters, Mini Motos, Quads. Drones

Waste & Litter - Please make use of the rubbish bags provided and, when full, dispose in the nearest skip. Extra bags are available at the campsite security hut.


Open fires are not permitted in the campsite. Barbecues are permitted but must be raised off the ground. Please dispose of coals and single-use barbecues (once cool) in the metal bins provided. Never leave a hot stove or barbecue unattended. Keep roadways clear at all times. Store fuel and generators away from ignition sources. Fire extinguishers are located at various fire points around the campsite. Use only in an emergency and raise the alarm immediately. Secure tents carefully in high winds.


In an emergency go straight to the security hut next to the campsite toilets.

Please note that music and noise is to be kept to a minimum after 23:00 in the Main Campsite. Any campers that persist in making excessive noise may be evicted from the campsite without refund of ticket fees.

Valuables and Security - Please be vigilant against theft. Personal items and valuables are left at your own risk and Knockhill Racing Circuit accept no responsibility for loss or damage sustained to these items.

Quiet Camp Zone - We have created a 'quieter' camping area for families. Please ensure that noise is kept to a minimum and respect fellow campers!
