The Official Scottish Motorshow Saturday Review

It was a case of sunshine, stunts, cars, tanks, entertainment and fun at the Official Scottish Motorshow today. First of all thanks to all those people who made it possible, exhibitors, stewards, volunteers, car owners / manufacturers and to you the paying public.

Here are just a few highlights from a successful opening day at the Motorshow:

  • Ben Shaw successfully lapped the circuit in his Ferrari 360 Modena.
  • A series of successful demonstration drives in the latest car models provided by the likes of Renault, Mercedes, Chevrolet, Ford and various others.
  • There were Competition winners of the Maserati Chauffeur Drive and the Gordon Shedden Hot Laps.
  • Stunt shows galore, Terry Grant (pictured below), Paul Swift in association with Ford, Jet Pack Man and a spectacular parachute and Bi-plane show in the skies above Knockhill.
  • Stunning car exhibits including Zonda, Lamborghini, Rolls Royce, Aston Martin, Ferrari, Porsche, Spyker and Ariel Atom.

Do not worry folks if you have missed any of the action at Knockhill because it all happens again tomorrow. Please remember that the Shuttle Bus to and from the circuit will be in operation from 9.30am Sunday morning.
