Real Radio Boss Makes Racing Debut at GT Cup Meeting

Real Radio Raceday“BIG BOSS BILLY” of Real Radio is the latest guest driver of the Tynecastle Garage backed Mini Cooper at Knockhill. Otherwise known as Billy Anderson, Regional Director of GMG Radio, who operate Real Radio, Smooth FM and Rock Radio.

Billy is no stranger to Knockhill as he has had a passion for driving and watching both Touring Car and Superbike action at the circuit over a number of years. His debut will be in the FFDR Mini Cooper Cup, a car that has featured the likes of Stephen Jardine of STV, TV Chef Nick Nairn and will have BTCC “Superstar” Anthony Reid in the hot seat next time around on September 26th.

Stuart Gray, Knockhill’s Events Director said, “We are delighted to be teaming up with Billy and Real Radio in this way. Billy has been a great supporter of Knockhill as we have had the Real Radio Hairpin for around 5 years now, such is the strength of relationship between Knockhill and Real radio. His training has come on well and I’m sure will have a good showing on his debut. Action starts at 8.30am with 15 races scheduled, including 3 FFDR Mini Cooper races.
