Racing under-way at Knockhill

The 2010 Dunlop MSA British Touring Car rounds at Knockhill are already under-way. Tom Blomqvist the 16 year old Fortec Motorsport driver has just taken the chequered flag in the opening Formula Renault race. Currently on track is the Porsche Carrera Cup with Scottish interest in the shape of Geddie, Butcher, Lyons and Brewster.

Gordon Shedden

Gordon Shedden starts from 2nd position on the front row after a superb qualifying display yesterday. Ominously both Matt Neal and Jason Plato line up behind Gordon as he aims to make a title charge today.

Knockhill owner Derek Butcher, who is of course father-in-law to Gordon said, “Everything is set up nicely isn’t it, the weather forecast is good and the action will be explosive.”
“I’ll be slightly biased come race day tomorrow, but hopefully we can see some fantastic racing and some Scottish wins,” smiled Derek.
