Girl racer Tinmouth to make British Superbike Championship history

The world’s fastest female motorcycle racer Jenny Tinmouth is doing it for the girls and pushing the boundaries to show her girl power this season as she becomes the first woman to line up on the grid for a full-time assault on the MCE Insurance British Superbike Championship for the Splitlath Motorsport team.

Tinmouth (31), of Ellesmere Port, will step up to the world’s toughest motorcycle racing series after finishing a close third in the 2010 British Supersport Cup to fulfil her dream of racing a Superbike and is ready to take on her male counterparts. Tinmouth has worked her way up to BSB from national level since 2003 when she raced in the British 125GP Championship, proving to be consistently fast and has already made history by becoming the fastest woman around the daunting Isle of Man TT circuit lapping at an incredible average speed of 119.945mph.

See Jenny in action at Knockhill on Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th June when the MCE British Superbike Championship comes to Scotland! Tickets are on sale now!
