Stock Cars Summer Series finale – Wednesday 17th August

This year’s final fixture on the tri-oval at Knockhill, will see the conclusion of the Track Championship for BriSCA F2s.  The Open Scottish Championship is up for grabs for the Stock Rods, whilst World Championship points are at stake for the National Hot Rods and the Lightning Rods complete the line up on the night.

A superb 50-point maximum from 647 Chris Burgoyne has seen him regain the lead of the Track Championship.  Burgoyne is nine points clear of fellow former World Champion 7 Gordon Moodie at the top chart. Eleven drivers currently boast a 100% attendance record at Knockhill this season.

There is a sprinkling of English interest in the meeting, with 202 Richard Hill due at Knockhill for the third time this season, 545 Paul Fearn set to make a track debut, and teenager 184 Aaron Vaight planning a second visit to the tri-oval.

As ever at Knockhill, there is interest from the north of Scotland, with 854 Robbie Dawson and 670 Derek Ashcroft set to lead the entry from the northern region.

Action starts at 6pm – Tickets £10 at the gate or £8 in advance.
