Just to remind everyone that Knockhill will be hosting two events this weekend. On Saturday we have the next round of the Scottish Championship car racing series featuring: Mini Cooper Cup, Classic Sports & Saloons, Legends, Fiestas, Sports & Saloons, Scottish Formula Ford Championship and the guesting MG Trophy Championship.
The Mini and Scottish Classic Sports and Saloon racers will have dusted themselves down from an epic performance at the BTCC last week. Except to see more exhilarating racing action, as Scotland’s best sports car racers descend on Knockhill.
Sunday sees a shift in focus, moving into the Modified and Tuning scene with Streetcar Scotland. The modified scene in Scotland is buoyant; with after-sale car modifications at an all-time-high. Come along and see for yourself some of Scotland’s most expertly tuned and customised cars.
If watching doesn’t really whet your appetite, there will be several Hot Hatch car trackday sessions for you to enjoy. Take your own car out onto the famous tarmac and emulate your favourite racing star. Track driving costs £55 in advance and £65 on the day. Never done it before, but would like to have a go? Why not chum one of your mates and benefit from the special additional driver rate of just £25 (in advance).
Newcomers are always welcome at Knockhill and we’d be delighted to see you here, either on Saturday or Sunday. Tickets will be available on the gate at both events and Hot Hatch spaces may also be available on the day (subject to availability).
