Lucky 13 for fast Eddie

The number 13 has always been special to ERS bike racer Eddie Stone and this weekend he hopes that it will be lucky 13 as he takes part in the Knockhill Motor Sports Club bike racing. The Crossford racer, who has his own Ducati preparation business at Knockhill is hoping for some top results this weekend.

Other local riders will be aiming for some silverware this weekend,  Owen Fozzard (Dunfermline) runner-up in the Formula 400s last year lines up in the Superstock 600s along with Crossgate brothers, Sean and Greg Gilfillan. Rosyth is also represented with David Hynd and Steve Nicol racing their 600s.

Track action is from 9am each day with 35 races scheduled in the first of four bike race meetings at Knockhill this year.

Club Chairman Stuart Gray said: “We are delighted that racers from all over Scotland are here this weekend and it is especially nice that local riders are featuring so strongly too.”
