Rallycross action returns this Saturday

The Monster Energy MSA British Rallycross Championship, in association with MaKTraK comes to Knockhill this Saturday. The event, a unique day-into-evening spectacle starts off at 1pm with action continuing through to 8pm (change from previous time of 12pm).

Round 2 will feature some of the following classes, remember the action is frantic, quick and the joker lap format adds a completely different dimension to the action.

– Supercars – 0-60Mph in 1.9 seconds!
– Supernationals – for two-wheel drive cars
– Junior and Senior Swifts – one-make saloon class
– Hot Hatch – for 1600cc 16V production cars
– RX150 – off-road buggies
– BMW Mini – class for racing minis

With up to 80 competitors, including 4 Scots (TBC), Marc Scott (Dumfries), Ian Biagi (Dumfries), Dave and Jim Black (Berwick), it should be a super event. Add into the mix up to 60 three minute races and a relentless stream of action, you certainly get your money’s worth when you watch the MSA British Rallycross Championship at Knockhill.

The flagship races happen in the Supercar class, these are super-fast cars, driven by super-cool competitors. Star names include Julian Godfrey, Ollie O’Donovan and multiple British Champion, Pat Doran.

Adult admission is £15, concession £8 and kids under 12 go free. Advanced ticket discounts apply.
