Bumper entry for Reverse Hot Hatch

More than 160 drivers and 130 vehicles took the Knockhill Reverse Circuit challenge today (Sunday 15th July). This was only our first full Reverse Hot Hatch car trackday and judging by the number of entries, everyone had been itching to have a go.

A bumper line up of vehicles took to the track to entertain the intrigued crowd. Models from Mitsubishi, Subaru, Lotus, Vauxhall and Ford could all be seen out on circuit, a few, even had time to sample our famous gravel traps, but fortunately everyone left with a smile on their face.

“It’s great to see so many drivers showing an interest in the Reverse Circuit at Knockhill,” commented Knockhill Managing Director Jillian Shedden.

Added Jillian, “All bodes well for the end of the season, when the reverse action culminates in two reverse direction race meetings. I know everyone at the Circuit is looking forward to these and hopefully the competitors will embrace it like the drivers today.”

Coming up at Knockhill this week, we have two events. Firstly on Wednesday 18th July we have the penultimate race meeting of the Stock Car Summer Series (action from 6pm). Secondly, we have the return of Scottish Championship car racing this weekend. It’s a two-day event and will feature racing on both days. This event will also see guest appearances from the National Legends and the Ma5da MX5 Championship.

Tickets for both events are available online now, see our full event listing here!
