SMRC Scottish Classics races named in memory of local racer

Well known Fife and Crail racer Willie Robertson tragically died recently at an accident at his home only a few days after competing in the last round of the SMRC races in July. In tribute to him, the two classic races are dedicated in his memory this Sunday at the SMRC organised race event. Special trophies are being awarded and his car will be raced by Iain Mitchell who looked after the bodywork on Willie’s Datsun. The two races, scheduled to be races 6 and 16 of the busy 18 race programme will be called ” The Willie Robertson Memorial Scottish Classic Sports and Saloons Races.”
