2014 is the Year of Homecoming AND the 40th anniversary of the first race meeting at Knockhill so we have got plenty to celebrate. At the Superbikes meeting next weekend, we have assembled the Homecoming Scotland 2014 / Knockhill 40th Anniversary Marquee, displaying bikes from each of the four decades of Knockhill. Some 30 bikes and sidecars will be on display and here are some of the bikes we’ve been lucky enough to source; Virgin Yamaha R7, LCR Outfit, Yamaha TZ250 and BSA Rocket-3 – the display also includes world sidecar champion Jock Taylor’s TZ outfit, as well as others!
The Homecoming Scotland 2014 marquee will be located towards the 1st corner (SEAT), just down from the Kart Centre and near the Skid Centre. The marquee will be split into four decades, housing riders and a selection of their race machines from the 70s, 80s, 90s, and 2000s.
