Motorcycle Racing Season Explodes into Action

The opening round of the SCOTTISH MOTORCYCLE RACING CHAMPIONSHIP provided a dramatic day of dices at KNOCKHILL RACING CIRCUIT, SCOTLAND’S NATIONAL MOTORSPORT CENTRE on Sunday 4th May.

With 14 action packed races on the card, spectators eager to witness the sort of close racing regularly served up at the Fife Circuit were not disappointed.

One of the highlights of the day was the breathtaking 12 lap race in the Supersport 600 class, with the eventual outcome at the chequered flag showing Fifer, John MacDonald from Auchertool (Digby Brown Triumph 675) taking a well deserved win from Perth’s Lewis Farrow, aboard his Yamaha R6, followed by Lockerbie star, Kenny Edwards (Suzuki GSXR) with Methven man, Paul Wishart 4th on his Yamaha R6.
