The Stuart Easton competition helmet officially went to auction after the British Superbike Championship event at the weekend. With all proceeds going to C.H.A.S charity it’s a great chance to get your hands on a unique piece of motorsport memorabilia.
Stuart wore the helmet at the weekend on his way to a 19th place finish in the British Superbike Championship race. Stuart picked the winning design from the competition, which received in excess of 100 entries from all over the UK.
The helmet, kindly donated by Shoei and painted by Rennat Design features a classic saltire and pictures of Scottish racing legends Hislop, Mackenzie and Moodie.
“There’s been a few hours put into the helmet that’s for sure. It’s a brand new helmet from Shoei and a mighty fine paint job, even if l do say so myself. I don’t really want to let it go,” laughed helmet painter Joe Tanner.
