BSB: Tommy Hill takes pole!

Swan Yamsha rider Tommy Hill secured pole position in final qualifying for round five of the MCE British Superbike Championship in association with Pirelli – ADT Fire and Security Knockhill round. Rider name beat off stiff competition from fellow competitors, John Hopkins and Gary Mason to secure P1 on the grid ahead of the opening race tomorrow.

Hill topped the time-sheets with a time of 52.867 only a fraction ahead of second placed man, Hopkins.

“That’s exactly what we were looking for the bike has been great all weekend long, let’s see if we can finish the job off tomorrow”, said Hill. 

Action tomorrow gets under way at 8.45am with warm up for the Eastern Airways British Sidecar Championship. The first Superbike action takes place at 9.30am with warm-up, the opening race is scheduled for 1.30pm.
