Streetcar Scotland at Knockhill

Hot Hatch and Modified fans turned out at Knockhill Racing Circuit today for the Streetcar Scotland event. The event, a mixture of static displays, Hot Hatch track sessions, drag racing, drifting and of course the other modified event prerequisite; babes (in the shape of the Fake Bake Score Angles).

Numerous car clubs, travelling from all over Scotland attended with several of their members walking away with the ‘best in show’ awards. Best Club Stand went to the boys from the Borders Tuning Scene and a Blue Honda Civic from the Club also claimed the Best Modified Car award. Other awards dished out on the day included the Car of the Show (Purple Ford Ka), Best Unmodified (Black Vauxhall Vectra) and Show and Shine (White Ford Focus).

Knockhill Events Director Stuart Gray commented:

“We really appreciate everyone’s participation at these events.

“It’s great that all these drivers and club members come to Knockhill on such a regular basis. The events are always lively and welcoming.”

The next Hot Hatch action at Knockhill takes place on the 2nd October. Tickets and track driving slots are available now via the events and trackdays sections on the knockhill website.

The Car Club Championship is beginning to hot up and we’d encourage everyone to pencil the 2nd into your diary for a return visit to Knockhill. Car Club Championship standings can be seen here.
