Championship racing returns to Knockhill

Scottish Championship bike racing returned to Knockhill today after a year long absence, with championship races for Scottish Superbikes, Superstock 600 and Scottish Supertwins.

The two day event, which has attracted the highest number of entries for a KMSC meeting since the Club’s inception, provided excellent entertainment for all.

British Supersport rider David Paton, who took pole in qualifying went on to win the afternoon Superbike race. Paton will line up tomorrow alongside other Scottish Championship racers in an action-packed programme, which starts at 9am.

Knockhill Club Chairman, Stuart Gray said:

“We are absolutely delighted with the number of entries for this weekend. We look forward to more of the same tomorrow.”

Tickets for tomorrow’s event are still available online till midnight or can be purchased at the circuit.
