Scottish Touring Car star driver Gordon Shedden was given the chance to meet some of his heroes this morning at Leuchars RAF base ahead of his biggest event of the year at Knockhill Racing Circuit this weekend.

The Honda star met Flt LT Ed Morris of 6 SQN and his £80M Typhoon fighter and Flt Lt Phil Bruce and his rally Peugeot 206 at the Fife base which is due to host its biggest event, the Leuchars Air Show, next month. Gordon, who is currently second in the chase for the 2012 championship said:

“I’m used to 300bhp and doing speeds of about 150mph, but what Ed and Phil do is nothing short of amazing and I take my hat, or should it be helmet, off to them and all the guys in the RAF for the job they do”.
