The Scottish Celtic Speed Mini Coopers did not disappoint as they thrilled a bumper qualifying crowd in the first of their two races this weekend. Pole man ‘Front row Joe’ Tanner led away from Kenneth Thirwall and David Sleigh but after a S…afety Car period, Thirwall was the first to jump Tanner then TSR lead driver Sleigh muscled his way passed Tanner at the hairpin. Completing the winners of the silverware was Carol Brown who won the Ladies Driver of the Day trophy.
