eBay Motors’ Colin Turkington has been speaking with The Sun online ahead of the BTCC round at Knockhill – filing his regular blog with the national newspaper…
Turkington and the West Surrey Racing squad have produced some incredible results so far in 2013, despite only rolling out its brand new BMW 125i M Sport cars on the eve of the season opener at Brands Hatch. Since then Ulsterman Turkington has fired himself into championship contention with three wins and his thoughts are already turning to the BTCC grand finale.
Before getting too carried away with thoughts of the season showdown, however, Colin is focussed on the trip to Scotland this weekend, where he believes his car should show good performance.
“Potentially, I think the meeting could be very good for me and my eBay Motors team-mates Rob Collard and Nick Foster,” he continues.
“The circuit, with its trademark slow final hairpin before the long drag uphill along the start-finish straight, should really suit the BMW. And the team had a pair of 1-2s last year with the old 3-Series Beemers.”
