KMSC Bike Racing Highlights – July 2018

Well, a difficult weekend weather-wise at Knockhill, with tricky conditions throughout the weekend for the assembled KMSC and Scottish Championship Bike Racers. But credit where it’s due, the guys and girls put on a tremendous show throughout the 33-race schedule.

Congratulations to all the winners and a massive thank you to all the marshals, medics and officials for soldiering on through the programme despite some trying conditions at times – it was almost, and we’ll say almost, a welcome relief to finally get some rain at Knockhill following wall-to-wall sunshine for what feels like months. But, if truth be told, we’d have preferred just a couple of more days of sunshine.

It was also great to see John McGuinness out on track – racing to secure a few signatures for his licence for his Isle of Man Classic TT return. We wish John all the best for the next few months and thank him for joining our Club this weekend – it was a real pleasure to have him on the grid.

We’ll leave you with some highlights from the weekend.

Hope to see you next time – when we conclude the KMSC Bike Racing season with the final round of races and of course, the Jock Taylor Memorial Trophy race.

Thanks again and see you next time
