Richards urges crowd to come to Knockhill this weekend

After securing pole position for the opening Motorpoint British Supersport race, Australian ace Glen Richards reckons fans are in for some great racing action today and tomorrow. Richards a previous winner around Knockhill, knows the track all-to-well, having competed and attended the Niall Mackenzie Superbike School as a guest instructor on numerous occasions.

Richards said: “I’ve had some good results from pole so far. Pole here is important with only three riders on a row on the grid but it was hard, there was a lot of traffic out there but I put in a couple of clean laps. The track here is in very good position, they’ve sorted a lot of the issues and I hope that they can have some good weather and with it a good crowd – they deserve it. The races should be good as the championship is very competitive, there has not been one stand out rider so far in some great races and these will not be any different.” (source BSB)

Tickets for today are available at the gate and advanced discounted tickets for tomorrow will be available until midnight tonight, with a box office collection service in operation.
