We’re now on the cusp of the annual Bennetts BSB event at Knockhill this weekend and the Superbike Teams’ PR departments have gone into overdrive. So instead of sending you on wild goose chase across the BSB paddock via the internet – we’ve compiled some of the riders quotes into one easy to read blog.
The new track certainly has a few of the riders excited about the possibilities on the lap time front this weekend – but we get the slight undertone that it will be so tight on the timesheets (P1 to P20) that having the right set up for qualifying will be crucial this weekend.
As will, staying aboard one’s bike. That’s probably a natural assumption you’d think, however, with a number of teams yet to even sample the new surface – they’ll need all the tracktime they can muster to get to grips with the changes around Knockhill – and sitting out half a session for tipping off in practice could have devastating consequences to any podium hopes… even before a race is run.
Tickets for the event are available online now (subject to pre-booking discounts and ticket collection at the track). Tickets will also be available throughout the weekend – subject to the slightly more expensive on-the-day pricing.
