Tom Ingram recaps on a fruitful Knockhill round in 2017 and will no doubt be hoping for another race win when Britain’s best tin-top racing series rocks up to Knockhill for another weekend of sensational racing action on 25/26 August.
Ingram heads to Knockhill in 2nd position, just 4pts adrift of current Championship leader Colin Turkington. With the BMW one of the favourites round Knockhill each year, Ingram will know that he needs a decent haul of points to keep his Championship hopes alive. And, given his current form that includes some monumental runs from the back of the grid in recent weeks – it would be hard to bet against him being in touch, if not on top when the series leaves Knockhill on Sunday evening… only time will tell however.
The BTCC will race three times on Sunday 26th August – ably accompanied by a strong line up of support series which includes Porsche Carrera Cup GB, Ginetta Junior and GT5 Challenge and British F4 Championship races. Saturday will see qualifying for all classes and an intense BTCC qualifying session at 15.25pm – which will be streamed live via the ITV Sport website.
