In light of the Scottish Government’s ongoing Motor Sport Safety Review Group’s consultation process, there will be very strict Press/Media regulations in place for the forthcoming ‘McRae Rally Challenge’ at Knockhill.
In order to assist the genuine press with their duties to record and report sporting events, Knockhill Circuit will engage the services of a professional motor sporting photographic company to take photographs at the event which will be freely available to recognised publications. Any news outlet wishing to avail themselves of this service, please advise.
Other accredited photographers will be made welcome, but will be restricted to public enclosures as no trackside access will be permitted during the running of this event.
Reporters and journalists will also be restricted to public enclosure areas, but will have off-track access to cars and crews during the course of the weekend.
Should a recognised news outlet require something specific from the event with their own staff we will endeavour to assist with their requirements.
Knockhill Circuit would like to apologise for these restrictions on Press/Media access. These restrictions will apply only to this event and will not affect current practices at motor race and motor cycle race events at Knockhill Circuit.
