Say hello to the most powerful, fastest accelerating, front-wheel-drive car we’ve ever had the pleasure of at Knockhill. The Type R responds instantly to the driver, no hesitation. Underneath the sculpted bonnet lies a four-cylinder VTEC TURBO engine. It’s no surprise to discover this gives the Type R the ability to sprint from 0-62 mph in 5.8 seconds and achieve 169 mph top speed. Powering the Type R through the dramatic undulations of our famous racing circuit is exhilarating.

Gordon Shedden Experience - This was the second occasion on which I had booked the two hour track session for my son with Gordon Sheddon and it did not disappoint. In fact, it was even better than the first time! Gordon is not only a brilliant driver, British Touring Car Champion and tutor, but a lovely chap who is willing to talk to mums about his racing life. Chris, my son, had learnt a huge amount from Gordon three years earlier and bringing this knowledge, and of the track, made this visit even more rewarding and memorable. Gordon is patient, clear with his instructions and yet allows guests to have fun - and drive incredibly fast in an amazing car. In summary, if you are looking for a unique, awesome and unforgettable present for a car enthusiast, this is the gift to be giving.

First Time Race Goer - Had a blast!! Attended the Superbike racing on Sunday. I have never been to a race circuit and did not know what to expect. Pleasantly surprised by the facilities and the circuit itself. Food was very good, trade stands also great. The racing was thrilling. I did learn somethings as a first timer. Make sure you wear sunscreen (you sit outside most of the day) and top it up through the day. If you want a comfortable seat bring one with you, lots of places to put your own chair some under cover, there is seating at the circuit but it is not comfortable for long periods. Don't forget to drink plenty of water, it is very easy to get caught up in the action and forget! This was a great experience for my first time attending a race circuit would definitely recommend.

What a great day out! This was a birthday gift driving a 306 bhp turbo Honda Civic Type R - just the thing for lovers of speed. Not only was this an awesome experience for the participants but also for their families and friends. There are lots of options for viewing. Staff are friendly and very pleasant and helpful. Instructors are patient and encouraging and keep things going in a personable and light-humoured manner. Thanks and well done Knockhill Racing Circuit.
