The finale of your visit is 2 Flying Hot Laps driven by Flash to show you what the awesome 316bhp Honda Civic Type R is truly capable of and how our champion travels around his home track with ease. This is a personal audience with the champion himself and you will be Gordons only pupil during your time at Knockhill.

Say hello to the most powerful, fastest accelerating, front-wheel-drive car we’ve ever had the pleasure of at Knockhill. The Type R responds instantly to the driver, no hesitation. Underneath the sculpted bonnet lies a four-cylinder VTEC TURBO engine. It’s no surprise to discover this gives the Type R the ability to sprint from 0-62 mph in 5.8 seconds and achieve 169 mph top speed. Powering the Type R through the dramatic undulations of our famous racing circuit is exhilarating.

Knockhill Racing Circuit is a thrilling 1.27-mile track, renowned for its adrenaline-pumping twists, turns, and dramatic 200-foot elevation changes. As Scotland's only FIA-graded circuit, it accommodates both car and bike racing in both directions, offering a truly unique motorsport experience. My sons took part in this, normally teenagers who grunt as communication were suddenly animated, talking coherently, I do believe those were actual smiles on their faces. My thanks to all the instructors and staff on the teen drive experience, you gave my sons an excellent start to driving and above all they really enjoyed it, raved about it in fact and couldn't wait to tell their pals on TD2 they had driven on a racetrack and been in a race car. Only downside is they are now at me to buy them a car...hmmm. No really, big thanks to you all. you deserve it.

My daughter attended the Teen Drive experience which she agrees is a 5 out of 5. 14 years old, she loved every minute of it and when she got out the car after the first run her smile was beaming. Great value for money and an absolutely brilliant beginner driving course. Very well presented and the staff were excellent. Her instructor was so enthusiastic and his guidance was second to none. I would recommend this course to any parents looking to get their youngster a driving experience before being able to go out on the road. Well done Knockhill! Phenomenal day. Well deserved 5 out of 5. Facilities first class.

All in all, loved the full experience! Some supercar experiences at other venues only let you use part of the track. Knockhill is unique in that you get to use the full circuit.

Had a very enjoyable day at Knockhill for the extended race car experience yesterday. Even though the brain was almost biblical at times the formula race car was amazing. Can't wait to do it again! The Honda Type R was good fun also and I found my instructor very helpful.
