Race, Learn, Have Fun! Exclusively for Members, our popular club gives young drivers the chance to take part in races, build confidence, and make friends every month at Knockhill. Cadets are 8–11 years, and Pro Karts are 12–15 years.
Practice sessions run from November to March to develop skills and improve technique. point scoring races run from April to October, with points earned each month toward the Annual Club Championship and tropy! All at a special members’ rate of £18 per session.
Membership also includes 12 half-price karting sessions to use once a month, free entry to Scottish Motor Racing and Knockhill Bike Racing events and 10% off all driving experience gift vouchers, including Teen Drive! Plus, families organising group karting events benefit from one free organiser ticket for every 10 people.
With coaching sessions, members-only school holiday race events, and opportunities to sharpen skills and gain confidence on the track, a Kids Karting Club membership is more than just karting, it’s a year-round thrills, challenges, and rewards.

Open to Cadets (8–11yrs) and Pro Karts (12–15yrs), each session is a new adventure as young racers take to the track to build confidence, master their technique, and chase championship points. A. We always recommend booking in advance, especially for weekend sessions, as they can fill up quickly around 2–4 weeks’ notice is normally required. Weekdays are usually a bit more flexible, and you can often find spaces at shorter notice. Same-day bookings may be available too.

A. Yes! Mixed kart sessions for families are available!
Kids aged 8–11yrs will drive our Cadet Karts, while kids aged 12+ and adults will jump into our SR5 Pro Karts. For younger children, kids aged 4 and above can enjoy the thrill too by driving our 2-drive Tandem Kart with an adult driver.
A.Yes! Every driver receives a printed lap time sheet to take home, perfect for comparing results and bragging rights!
A. A 50% deposit of your total booking value is non-refundable. However, we’re happy to move your booking to another date at no extra cost. Just let us know at least 3 full days in advance.
A. The track isn’t usually exclusive, as most sessions are shared with other drivers. If you’d like exclusive use, this can be arranged by booking the full session and meeting the minimum group numbers required.
A. Yes! Once your booking is confirmed, we’ll send you an email confirmation with all your event details and a link to pre register your drivers. Please check it as soon as it arrives and let us know if anything needs to be updated.
A. Yes, all drivers should be aware of the following:
Pre-event briefing: All drivers must watch the briefing before their karting session.
Indemnity form: Please register and complete your indemnity form online via the link in your booking confirmation. Drivers under 16 will need a parent or guardian to complete the form.
Kart suitability: The size and design of our karts may limit some drivers. If you have concerns, you’re welcome to visit beforehand to familiarise yourself and ensure you can safely operate the controls.
Health considerations: Karting is not recommended if you are pregnant, have heart or breathing difficulties, back or neck problems, or are considered to have a nervous disposition.
Alcohol and drugs: The use of alcohol or drugs before or during your session is strictly forbidden.
Behaviour: All drivers should conduct themselves responsibly on and off track. Any driver causing damage or harm may be excluded from the remainder of the event.
Follow staff instructions: Please listen to and follow the advice of our staff, they’re here to ensure your safety and enjoyment.

A. We’re an outdoor venue and are well set up to run in wet weather, it’s all part of the fun!
Every driver is provided with a full waterproof suit for extra comfort and protection from the rain. If conditions become extreme and we need to postpone for safety reasons, we’ll contact you as soon as possible and rebook your event for another suitable date.
A.The event is non-refundable; however we will endeavour to find a new date that is convenient for you.
A. We offer 20 and 30 minute timed track sessions, which run in half-hour intervals.
Group race events, birthday parties, and club sessions are also available with varying durations. You can find full details and book online on our website booking pages.
A. Yes, the more the merrier! We have indoor and outdoor viewing areas, plus a children’s play park right beside the Kart Centre. Please check our opening hours before you visit.
Unfortunately, dogs and pets aren’t permitted at the circuit due to motorsport regulations.
A. Please arrive at least 30 minutes before your booked session. This allows time for your safety briefing and to get suited up, so you’re ready to start on time.
Your arrival time is stated on your booking confirmation.
Please note that late arrival will reduce your track time, and any lost track time cannot be refunded or added at the end.
A. Yes.
Our LR5 Cadet Karts are suitable for ages 8+ with a minimum height of 4'2" (127 cm).
Our SR5 Pro Karts are suitable for ages 12+ with a minimum height of 5'2" (157 cm).
For younger children, the Tandem Kart is available for ages 4+ with a minimum height of 3'3" (100 cm), and must be driven by an adult aged 18 or over.
A. Please dress for comfort and the outdoors. Flat, secure shoes are required for karting. High heels, sandals, platform shoes, and work boots are not permitted.
Drivers may be refused entry if appropriate footwear isn’t worn, and refunds cannot be given.
We provide full race suits, helmets, gloves, and neck braces as standard, with waterproof outer suits available in wet weather.
A. No, we aren’t directly served by public transport. The nearest town is Dunfermline, which has rail and bus links. From there, a taxi is required to reach the circuit, approximately 7 miles away. If you’re travelling by car, please use our postcode KY12 9TF for sat nav directions.
